BASH THE BISHOP
Inspired by Levati's 25 resource deck, I wanted to try make something similar-ish for the red cards.
Jarnbjorn and by extension Lock and Load are ways of making use of excess resources. Once set-up, you'll be making a minimum of 2 attacks with Bishop per turn. One basic activation and one use of Bishop's Rifle. That's 2 swings with the axe. If you happen to have Clobber in your hand, you will likely be able to play it twice. Another 2 axe swings. Concussive Blast is also effectively two attacks. 2 moar axe swings. Are you noticing a trend here?
Jarnbjorn is a resource sink that stays in play once set-up, and I think is the best approach for the red cards.
Counterattack is the best card in the game, also triggers the axe and can be used with virtually no drawback once you have Bishop's Uniform in play.
The Power of Flight is being played over Everyday Hero as it can be used as fuel for Randall. As Bishop wants to be attacking as often as possible for his basic activations, having more cards to pitch to Randall is prioritised over more wilds that could be used to fuel Jarnbjorn. In multiplayer, it can be used to help pay for Flying Formation.
I was very tempted to drop Lock and Load for another resource to hit 20 resources but I think it's spot is justified. Hope Summers, Machine Man, and possibly White Fox were also cards that did not make the cut. Same with Utopia and Face the Past for extra readies...
It's a shame that there isn't anyway to get the psionic trait onto Bishop as far as I am aware, otherwise I would have made space for Telekinesis, to have another attack option on board each round ...
