This holiday season KennedyHawk returns to his Decked Halls series and brings each hero a gift with a new deck built using his least used aspect for each hero. For the next 13 days this miniseries will provide a short deck overview of a deck Kennedy is enjoying this winter season. Dec 10, 2020My swaps were trading Sentry for Tigra, Martial Prowess for Quincarrier, and one Emergency for a third Haymaker. Enjoy this deck quite a bit! I've gone through Rhino, Klaw, and Kang so far. The threat gets a little tense sometimes, but it's worked out so far. |

Totally valid question. I wasn't trying to optimize anything for damage but more trying to optimize Hulks chances to trigger an energy resource. I want him to be able to wipe the field of ultron drones on command. Relentless also triggers mainly off of physical resources and can ONLY be used against minions. Should the board be clear I can take my Haymaker to the villains jawbone. I think both are reasonable includes. |
May 12, 2021Enjoyed this deck and the linked podcast. I just published my own deck based on Captain Marvel and Moment of Triumph at marvelcdb.com Now we have GMW, it seems really worth adding Hand Cannon to a deck like this. I'm afraid I wimped out of using quite so many events... |
After playing this deck more I'd recommend droping Martial Prowess and one Emergency for 2x Counterattack.
The combo of Take 6-7 damage and deal it back iwth Counterattack. Then remove 5 threat with "You'll Pay for That!" then heal to full with Moment of Triumph is too fun to pass up!
