So you want to be a D&D Wizard…there are none better suited for this than Adam Warlock. He is the ultimate draw and discard wizard for deck building!
This deck is completely built around the theme of drawing out cards and discarding cards. Yes, it is a 50 card deck. That doesn’t matter. You’ll be going through this deck so fast, it might as well be 40.
Priorities: Just a little build out. You don’t need much to get started at being a great D&D Wizard. Don’t worry about the stat boost upgrades just yet. Focus on the first part of being a D&D Wizard - draw. You want to get cards into play that have you draw more cards until you get your hands on Soul World. You will likely take some hits along the way, and your constant magic casting causing you to draw more cards and discard them will have you run through this deck in no time. Don’t miss the opportunity to heal up to full when you can! After that, work on Mystic Senses and The Sorcerer Supreme. After those are in play and you get the opportunity, play Warlock's Cape and the various stat boosts as you go along. Get that cape in play first, because you can exhaust Adam Warlock, play the stat boost card, ready him, and exhaust again! Avengers Mansion and Karmic Staff are just icing on the cake of deliciousness this deck gives.
Once you’re set up with the basics, get to spell casting! You’ll be drawing cards constantly, which allows you to use Battle Mage regularly.
There are many possible combos to set up. Here are just a couple: Have both Clear the Area and Zone of Silence or Cosmic Awareness in your hand? Play Zone of Silence clearing just enough threat to play Clear the Area and draw another card to your hand!
Taunt into Shield Spell into Quantum Magic back to #taunt 5 cards for 6 cards in hand after…it is possible to get #deflection drawn and play that again for the second taunt, where you still have 3 cards in hand and you have worked toward building up Soul World. Beast is great to grab the particular double that will suit you best. The remaining allies all help you be what you’re here to be, a D & D Wizard!
