Warlock's Cape
Reviews

Adam Warlock's stat line is not amazing, so readying him may not seem all that great. But you probably want to be using Battle Mage every turn anyway since it's just innately a good value (even before you get your Mystic Senses online), so you may as well have the Cape to get a little extra value. And then since you're expecting to get an extra ready every turn, upgrades like Heroic Intuition and Armored Vest start looking better.

Plus, who doesn't want a cape?!

I might be misunderstanding the other review, but exhausting Adam Warlock is not a cost of "Battle Mage". So, you could use "Battle Mage" and also a Basic Attack, Thwart, or Defense. — Johnathan · 1
There's one thing that makes the cape quite decent: You have to play leadership cards, you are forced to. There's always make the call, and Maria is almost always decent. But what do you do with the remaining 2-3 cards? Well, I find that Blaze of glory playing multiple guardians, teamwork and moxie, on top of being able to discard a leadership card and get +1+1 is quite the stat boost that you get to use twice (except for the battle mage stat boost). His def stat is also not terrible, so if you play the vest and at least one more stat enhancement, you get a very nice damage reduction and some key damage or threat removal every turn. All in all, it's not bad, just takes a bit more deckbiilding space that I'd like for an identity card — Selven · 1
