This deck was played with Rey Plays Games in a two-player game against Master Mold!
His deck is here: S.H.I.E.L.D Anti Anti-Mutant Task Force
There is another deck that shares a lot of DNA with this deck that I want to shout out: One Bad Apple by HeroicSkeleton
The idea of this deck is to use Rogue’s Touched upgrade on minions to have overkill for her attacks. Using Follow Through to boost any overkill damage to avoid retaliate, ignore guard, and do massive damage to the villain without breaking a sweat!
As long as you touch a minion every attack has overkill, including Take That! and Surprise Move. With Combat Training and Rogue's Jacket, we can get to 4 ATK pretty easily.
In order to touch minions you have to have minions in play: Angela and Spoiling for a Fight are key here, allowing you to cheaply get a target into play. Angela can help with more damage on minions to increase the amount you overkill to the villain (remember, even 1 point of overkill damage is worth 4 damage with 3x Follow Through).
Specialized Training gets us to 5 ATK and draws a card the first time you basic attack. Blood Rage draws us more cards. And the coup de grace is Hall of Heroes drawing even more cards.
Since every attack has overkill, Directed Force always adds +2 ATK and can help hit for massive overkill to the villain. Hopefully you have other players to worry about thwarting. You don't want to waste basic activations on defending or recovering. Flipping down is only to get cards form Hall of Heroes.
Remember, nobody became a legend by thwarting a lot. Cool kids do damage.
