On the Critical Encounters podcast, of of the gang was lamenting that the Silk decks he had seen online were using too many of the same cards, especially how they all tended to lean on Web Warrior allies. So I took the challenge and decided to put together a deck that played to her strengths while using some different cards.

What I have opted for is a minion-hunting deck that can rapidly tuck cards under Silk while providing Overkill damage to the villain, with a dash of Overkill threat reduction thrown in.

This is not a complicated deck (other than managing Silk's tucked cards), use Looking for Trouble or Angela to fish out minions and then blast them away with either Into the Fray or your base ATK boosted by Combat Training, Spider Claws, Hand Cannon and Follow Through. All while stacking tokens on Hall of Heroes and healing up with Moment of Triumph.

J. Jonah Jameson and The Direct Approach can help you manage side schemes.

This has been a good deck for learning how to use Silk's tucked cards as (as long as you are facing a villain with a decent number of minions) it tucks cards pretty quickly and you feel more free to discard them to gain the benefits of her alter-ego ability, Swinging Silk Kick, Wallcrawl, and Organic Webbing, while still leaving behind some to benefit Spider Claws, and potentially Outwit, Eidetic Memory and Spider Reflexes as well, although those have been more rarely deployed in my games as I focus on doing damage.

I will admit that I have not yet had the occasion to use Blood Rage in a game yet, so it could easily be swapped out for something else that appeals to you more.

Big fan of silk and I really enjoyed her in minion hunting Aggression. Yours is different than what I had but I love the direction, good stuff!

@Castlefrank47 I just looked up that deck (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/49379/investing-in-silk-is-overkill-1.0 for anyone interested) and we are definitely on similar tracks in our thinking. I really like your addition of Face the Past and will likely add it to my deck as well.

This looks fun, and pretty good. Personally, I don't think she needs WW stuff. Are they good? Sure. But she's perfectly capable without it, like any other web warrior. Plus when you go in on WW, that's at least half of your deck space used up.

@LACK OF SUBTLETY also the name is top tier. I'm eager to see how spoiling might work for her once it comes out.

@HeroicSkeleton I agree with you on the WW package with her. The more I played her the more I realized it wasn't needed necessarily.
