I like Hawkeye. I use him more than any other hero. I don't think he's great, but I love the theme. I'm lucky that I get to play in multi-player enough to have other heroes compensate for his weaknesses.
Before AoS came out, my group and I did an RoRS campaign with only Shield heroes. I chose Hawkeye. They were playing in red and yellow. I could have played blue ally swarm, but that's old hat. Green Hawkeye is feasible but not that fun. Maybe 'pool? Never done that.
It takes a while, but dropping Healing Factor on Plot Convenience to be picked up by other players helps a lot. 2 passive REC every turn? Yes please. Then see if your table can knock out Live Dangerously in one turn. +2 hand Size for everyone? Yes please.
Getting your little butts kicked? Maybe it's Break Time. Or maybe you should Git Gud.
Stick-To-Itiveness is nice in a pinch. Hawkeye has base 3 ATK with his bow. Helicarrier and Quincarrier can help pay for another Arrow. Speaking if arrows, they're all ranged! Directed Force gives them all +2 damage. Except Explosive Arrow. That's not an attack. Boo.

Mar 25, 2025That's what Plot Convenience is for! |
Mar 25, 2025First off, fun name. Second, I like your Healing Factor gameplay. I think you have a good base for a unique Hawkeye pool deck for people to learn from. Great job! |
Mar 25, 2025It's right there in the write up too! I was clearly asleep at the wheel. Fun deck! |
As a fellow Hawkeye fan, I like what you've got going on here, but I do see one hiccup. Healing Factor does not specify that it can be played on any player. I'm pretty sure this limits it to only being played on yourself, so the extra copies may be unnecessary.
Directed Force is great with Hawkeye. I'm glad to see someone else using it.
