Square off is really a card for Thor! It allows Thor to play ally reducing their cost by 3 and draw 2 cards (with the "Have at thee" ability). In exchange, you get a minion.
The strategy here is to have the allies block the enemy attacks and Thor takes damage from the minions attacks. Don't forget to play Endurance and Thor's Helmet to increase your health.
When you are ready, clean all the minions at the same time with Lightning Strike! Both God of Thunder and the Quincarrier will help you get the Lightning resources that you need. Deft Focus is also here to pay for the Lightning Strike
Cards like White Tiger, Kaluu and Nick Fury will help you tutor the Lightning Strike when you need it
