Photo Wall of Metal: Metal Motto Search
Deck Summary
- Play Magneto's Armor and Magneto's Cape asap
- 50 cards so you are more likely to mill past all the resources
- It's a repurpose deck; play tech upgrades and repurpose for big stats
Lets find out what's happening in the Metaloid Maniac's world in this deck description
This deck is all about doing what you have to do to make Magneto look crazy up there like a bug. Zipping all over and punching guys with his increased stats that he built.
The villain is going to try to take pieces of your metaloid build (Magneto's Armor, Magneto's Cape, Forcefield Generator, Energy Barrier) guarding your hp with Caught Off Guard. But that shouldn't be a problem for you. (just don't build so fast you crack the planet)
Superpower Training can help you get the important pieces of the wall, which is actually his ground, set up more consistently. You want at least one of The X-Jet, Captain Marvel's Helmet and Deft Focus to fuel his metaloid powers.
When I first had the idea for this deck, I was like: what if there was a guy, who could like zip around with metal, and also shoot it and build stuff with it? So freaking cool.
Revealing a piece of the photo of the phrase
Each card has a little colored dot in the corner. When you use Magnetic pull, the Metaloid maniac will reveal a stat boost for each different colored resource. But be careful! You only have 1 round with those stats! Speed around the board with the ready from Magneto's Cape, Ever Vigilant, and Repurpose to increase your stats more and ready for more basic activations. Once you're past 4 atk Leading Blow is nearly guaranteed to hit.
There are 50 cards in the deck that he built so that each magnetic pull mills past more cards. Usually 50 cards is a no-no, because it dilutes access to the more powerful hero cards. But for the Metaloid maniac, the wall is actually his ground. He's guaranteed to hit a hero card with his ability every turn. And the distribution of resource symbols tries to bias towards physical resources for the attack increase.
"A difficult conversation with my daughter"
This deck can be a little slow; the suit is way too heavy and you keep sliding. And if you're unlucky with Magneto's Armor and Magneto's Cape it's going to be annoying waiting around for them. And, like all magneto decks, it can be annoying drawing the minion-focused cards when none are on the table. It's hard.
Go have a chat with the Metaloid Maniac!
Make sure you ain't got metal on you!
