This is a deck meant to take advantage of the most iconic Team-Up ability in the game, Fastball Special. Ideally you're playing with a Colossus teammate, who has their own copy of the card. But this deck still works great with other teammates, or even solo.

If you aren't playing with a Colossus teammate, I'd suggest replacing Fastball Special with the basic Colossus ally. This deck plays really well with other X-Men heroes, as it doesn't need to run any of the typical X-Supports.

If you're playing true-solo, I'd drop 1 Combat Training and 1 Clobber for 2x Smash the Problem for some extra thwarting. With Brute Force disincentivizing you from using Wolverine's basic ATK, you should be using his basic THW most turns, unless you had to defend. Note that Smash the Problem is not really worth playing until you've got your ATK stat up to at least 4 or 5.

Berserker Frenzy should be your top priority upgrade, then Adamantium Skeleton, followed by Brute Force and Combat Training. Endurance is good pretty much anytime. I try not to play Symbiote Suit too early, but sometimes, you just can't help yourself. "I Got Better" pretty much only hits the table if a teammate is playing Superpower Training and my other two signature upgrades are already out.

Wolverine's basic ATK and Quick Strike max out at 8 power in this deck, or 9 if your teammate brings Specialized Training.

You want to stay in Hero form all game, if possible. Most of your turns are going to look like this: Heal 2 (don't forget!), Exhaust Wolverine's Claws for a piercing attack, use your basic THW2, and then spend the rest of your cards to play an upgrade, ally, or a second attack event. By the end-game, you can easily deal 20-30 dmg on your final turn, with 2 decent attacks events plus your basic ATK. Just for fun, I think the theoretical max damage (not counting allies) would be...

6 cards in hand, all upgrades in play for 9 ATK, Colossus teammate with 4 ATK. Exhaust Claws for Fastball Special, 13 dmg, 5 cards left in hand. Discard 2 for Quick Strike, +9 dmg = 22 dmg, 2 cards left. Discard 1 and exhaust Martial for Quick#2, +9 dmg = 31 dmg, 0 cards left. Basic ATK action, +9 dmg = 40 dmg.

Have you considered adding Keep up the Pressure so you (and Colossus) can pull Fastball Special? Ideally you'd complete it after both of you have used your copy of it.
