In this deck, Shadowcat shows off the Power of Leadership!
While Kitty began her life as a student in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters she eventually went on to lead several versions of the X-Men and even was the Headmistress of the Jean Grey School.
Kitty's kit may not to have any inherent synergy with leadership beyond the typical - spam allies, play Strength In Numbers but it has one really gifted aspect. Shadowcat rarely takes damage - so instead of the traditional leadership play of spam chump blocks - we can let Shadowcat do her thing and use allies as batteries and for their stats. This could lead to a cool deck with Last Stand but here I felt to a different leadership archetype focusing on using Kitty's in kit ready and 2/2/2 statline.
A few notes on the main combo of the deck.
• Get 2+ allies on the board to trigger Band Together feel free to use this Beast with Rapid Response to keep digging Band Together back into your hand.
• Use Band Together to meet the requirements for R&D Facility.
• Eventually you'll want to either use R&D Facility or a Moxie then play a copy of Go All Out or Push Ahead to monopolize on your ability to bypass guard and crisis icons and fill whatever gap your team needs on a given round.
• Don't forget campaign allies (like Robert Kelly or Jubilee will also help boost your Band Together.
An ideal turn goes as such.
• Begin the villain phase in Phased and defend (either naturally or with Quick Shift- this will flip you to Solid.
• On your turn play a Shadowcat Surprise to deal some damage and ready your hero. This will flip you back to Phased.
• Play Moxie or trigger R&D Facility to bump your stats to 3/3/2 or 3/3/3.
• Use Push Ahead to remove 8-9 threat from the main scheme. You can play Go All Out but make sure you save your attack sequencing so you end in Phased which can be a bit tricky. Which may require you to skip Shadowcat Surprise

Hey KennedyHawk, thank you and your guest, Andy-N ,for doing the power of..... I have been struggling with the X-men and your show helped me get over the issues I was having with them.
I am normally a justice/leadership player, so these decks are awesome. Keep up the good work!
