Nova | The Three Card Stud

This is a super fun Justice Nova deck using the power of Nick Fury, Moon Girl, and One Way or Another for massive card draw that leads to great board control and explosive turns! These 3 cards that draw 3 cards each make up the 3 Card Stud!

Nova loves having targets for Unleash Nova Force so One Way or Another is such a natural fit for him. And the card draw provided makes it very easy to find and pay for Nick Fury and Moon Girl. Plus OWoA provides a target for Chance Encounter which is another easy way to find your key allies and replay them again and again.

Heroic Intuition is there to make the most of your Nova activations and also to help guarantee you can clear those schemes you fetch. Clear the Area and Skilled Investigator draw more cards for you along the way.

You want to ready Nova as often as possible, so a couple of Justice Served are there for those non-Unleash turns to try to get a few more uses out of his helmet.

For defense you're largely relying on chump blocking with Nick Fury, Moon Girl, and Ironheart, but thanks to all the card draw and Chance Encounter you can reliably expect at least one to be available every turn.

Draw cards, take control of the board, and hammer the villain with your explosive turns!

There are a few cards that could easily be swapped out/removed to get down to 40:

Under Surveillance helps get to alter ego once in awhile when playing against a low threat threshold scheme, but against a villain with one big scheme you probably don't need it.

Symbiote Suit is just there for fun and because I love it with Nova but it isn't necessary.

Avengers Mansion also isn't necessary, it's just nice to have since Nova can easily afford it.

You also might consider an Endurance against high damage scenarios.
