"Where mankind is menaced by magic... there must Doctor Strange go to combat it!"

I've been dabbling with Dr.Strange Protection for quite awhile, and this really comes together on the table.

It can take some practice but once you realize all the green cards are there as resources or methods to make Dr.Strange just be better at being Dr.Strange instead of a protection Hero, it will make sense.

Step one, find your real Hero, Cloak of Levitation. Between it and the Ever Vigilants along with Master of the Mystic Arts, your Invocation deck becomes your deck.

Wong and Cosmo serve as ways for you to tear through it even faster if needed, but in general using Assess the Situation and Spiritual Meditation will have you holding massive grips to fuel your magical onslaught.

I admit Toughs can be frustrating as most of your attacks come in big meaty mystical chunks, but you can get by.

I play almost exclusively two or four player, and I feel like this deck makes you feel quite a bit like Superior Strange from What If, you spend most of your time bolstering your team, ruining the villian's plans, and slinging the best parts of your kit on repeat. I make no "tHiS DeCk wArpS the Game" claims, but its fun, thematic, and effective enough.

Good luck heroes! Please leave any feedback or reports on how it performed for you!

I like the idea of Ever Vigilant-ing after casting an Invocation. Most of my success with Doc comes from untapping a lot (with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a Leadership deck, for example), so I am tempted to ‘worsen’ your idea a little bit by adding Avengers to this deck…

@Didacles I can see that. Dropping some extra events and tweaking some cards could give 5-7 slots back easy, might be even more invocation possibilities there. I'll take a look at that vs leaving some protection events around for shenanigans to see how it goes. Thanks for the feedback!
