Dormammu I've come.... wait I've seen this card before...

Hello, champ!

After I've read the We all know who's in charge Thor, the idea of crazy drawing comes to my mind.

We all know that Dr. Strange is good with any aspect because he's too OP. However, I want to raise that OP-ness to another level with drawing cards like 10-20 cards per turn.

The Star of our show is absolutely Avengers Assemble! and Strength In Numbers x2.

By getting out all the allies (x5) and keep them safe using Seven Rings of Raggadorr and sometimes using them as the meat shield last long enough to reach late game where you could Avengers Assemble and Strength in Number every round.

I beat Ronan in GMW expert solo with this deck. Except for Ronan, I've never used any allies as a meat shield. Ronan is too crazy. I didn't test it on Multiplayer mode, but I don't think this deck is capable of multiplay. Feel free to share if you've tried this :)

Early Game

you want to hard mulligan to find The Sorcerer Supreme and Cloak of Levitation. The basic core cards for Dr.Strange. After that, you slowly build for allies.

The ideal first turn should be

  1. any card of any double resource
  2. The Sorcerer Supreme
  3. Master of the Mystic Arts
  4. Any card that won't make you regret spending it as a resource
  5. Adam Warlock
  6. Cloak of Levitation or Mystical Studies to get Cloak (fosho!)
  7. Winds of Watoomb

Flip to Hero

  1. Use Master of the Mystic Arts
  2. Attach The Sorcerer Supreme using the double resource card.
  3. Use 2 of the cards you've drawn to attach Cloak of Levitation
  4. Use Doctor Strange's Action to draw another 3 cards
  5. and do what you want.

Mid-game

If you haven't finished building the board. you might want to constantly try to stun or confuse Villian and use that status to the best of the situation.

Late game

you should have something like this on the board.

if you have all the above, you should have 28 cards left in the deck. Now the fun begins.

You might want to wait until the Master of the Mystic Arts come up again and Winds of Watoomb ready for use.

  1. Use Dr.Strange's Basic power (mostly THW).
  2. Use Master of the Mystic Arts to draw 3.
  3. Maybe another Master of the Mystic Arts if it comes up.
  4. Use Strength In Numbers and exhaust all of the allies and draw 5.
  5. Good grief! 11 cards already? now use Avengers Assemble! to ready them all.
  6. Use Strength In Numbers again for 5 more cards.
  7. Exhaust Strange to use his Action to draw another 3 from Winds of Watoomb.
  8. Exhaust Sky Cycle to bring back Ant-Man,Stinger, and Wong
  9. Destroy any minion with Air Supremacy you've drawn(you have 6 character with Aerial trait tho...).
  10. Profit!

***In meanwhile where you draw those cards, you'll draw a lot of Spiritual Meditation. Use them to cycle your deck back and give yourself 1 encounter card. Cards that you might want to dumb are Magical Enhancements,Mystical Studies,Magic Blast (or Astral Projection up to the situation).

Congratulation on the encounter card. You draw 25 cards to achieve nothing!(LOL) Good Grief that Avengers Assemble! is limited once per round or it would be disastrous for him to keep drawing like crazy and stuck in the loop of drawing...

Dormammu I've come to bargain!.... Ah, $%@! this card again?
