Thor, especially his default deck, doesn't excel at solo. The main reasons for this I've found is his low thwart potential, but most importantly his low hand size - it's really difficult to set him up and pay for cards. This deck is designed to make up for those elements so Thor is capable of fending for himself in a solo match - he can already take care of minions and can do big damage to the villain just with his signature cards, so I've taken the opportunity to buff him where he lacks.

First is general hand size and resource management. As well as the standard Helicarrier and Avengers Mansion, increasing the number of cards that Thor can draw in a turn and reducing resource costs, I've also included 2 copies of Enhanced Reflexes to complement the God of Thunder signature cards. When all these cards are out, Thor can generate an impressive number of resources, often only needing to spend 1 card in hand as a resource - sometimes none! To this end, Nick Fury is also included, and it's recommended to use him to draw the 3 cards when you can. Enhanced Reflexes is also chosen specifically as the resources can be spent on Lightning Strike for a large area of effect attack.

Most of the other included cards are designed to improve Thor's thwarting capabilities, starting with Heroic Intuition, just buff his base thwart. Using the base thwart shouldn't be necessary, though, not with the copies of For Justice! and Surveillance Team, which can do a good job of keeping the main scheme handled. A copy of Under Surveillance is included too to give Thor some breathing space when it comes to the main scheme.

If there's too many side schemes for Thor to handle, the allies can help - Jessica Jones and Daredevil are good for this purpose, as well as being useful for defending attacks.

I've tested this deck and have won consistently against most villains except expert Mutagen Formula and expert Ultron, so there may be some room for improvement, but I reckon there's only so far you can push Thor in solo. If you have any suggestions for improvements, though, let me know.

Looks like a great adaptation. Was struggling with Thor solo for the exact same reason. Will give this one a try and see what i can come up with given some extra Hero cards. Thanks for sharing!
