Hollywood’s Even Heavier Hitter

Welcome to Version 2 of my Wonder Man Aggression build! If you played the original Hollywood’s Heavy Hitter, you know the core philosophy: Simon Williams doesn't need to overthink his problems, he just needs to hit them.

This updated version takes that mantra and doubles down on stat-stacking, readiness, and pure mathematical overkill. We have trimmed some of the situational counter-punches from V1 to inject raw, explosive stat boosts that push Simon’s basic ATK value into the stratosphere.

The Script Rewrite: What’s New in V2?

While Version 1 relied heavily on a defensive loop (The Best Defense… into You'll Pay for That!), Version 2 focuses on an proactive, overwhelming offense.

  • The Big Boosts: We've added Morale Boost, Lead from the Front, and Aggressive Conditioning. Combined with Combat Training, Simon can now regularly achieve standard or burst ATK values that make even the toughest villains flinch.
  • The Heavy Swings: We replaced Relentless Assault and Bring It! with Savage Strike and Quick Strike. Because Simon’s ATK stat is consistently higher in this build, Savage Strike gives us an even bigger ceiling for massive overkill turns, maximizing our healing potential.
  • Action Economy: Ready to Rumble has entered the mix. When we do need to flip to Alter-Ego to heal, recover, or utilize Mr. Hollywood and Wonder Fans, we can flip back and immediately ready up, never losing our offensive momentum.

The Strategy: Lights, Camera, Overkill

The loop of this deck is all about setup and explosive execution.

  • Scene 1: Build the Brand: Get Combat Training, Hand Cannon, and Simon's signature attachments (Signature Sunglasses, Jet Belt) on the board.

  • Scene 2: The Directing: Use Morale Boost or Lead from the Front before you declare an action. If you activate Smash the Problem or Into the Fray while Simon is sitting at a temporary 5 or 6 ATK, you aren't just chipping away at threat—you are completely wiping out entire schemes in a single physical action.

  • Scene 3: The Climax: Line up a massive Savage Strike on a minion. The resulting overkill damage feeds directly into Moment of Triumph, allowing you to heal for massive chunks of health at a time. Who needs a recovery stat when your basic attack heals you to full?

  • The Defense: We kept a couple of copies of The Best Defense… because using Simon's massive ATK value to completely negate an incoming attack is still the flashiest stunt in his playbook.

The Supporting Cast

Just like in V1, Thor and Boom Boom are back on the roster. Are there more optimal Aggression allies out there? Sure. But they are my favourite red allies at the moment, and frankly, a movie star like Simon Williams gets to pick his own co-stars.

Summary of Changes from V1:
