The Foot Claw Club

X-23's got claws in her feet (not that you'd know it playing her in Champions), and so do cats - so welcome to the Foot Claw Club!

This is a different way to play Tigra, courtesy of the Winning Hand podcast's card of the week, X-23! X-23 is a fantastic ally who really needs minions to shine to her fullest. Unfortunately, I find Squared Off a bit awkward to play, so Tigra is a natural fit for her.

X-23 is the star of this deck - pull minions as Tigra does & profit from them - but then let Laura handle the little guys so you can focus your damage on the villain! It's very satisfying when X-23 kills a minion with Hunted and you both ready to do some more slicing and dicing.

If the minions are little beefier than usual, use R&D Facility to bump up Laura to a 4 ATK for the entire phase, or Command Team to let her hit once more. When she dies, bring her back with Rapid Response, Make the Call or Med Lab. She'll come out exhausted from there, but Command Team can get her back in the fight quickly.

Every other ally in the deck gives you benefits to handling minions as well. Hawkeye and Squirrel Girl will soften them up, Vivian can blank out any nasty abilities, and Mirage can stun them if you can't quite handle them yet. Grant Ward.. well, he's a mean one but use Command Team to get him on and off the battlefield quick.

For all of the allies, the new card gets you massive card draw when they leave play, and provides an ideal target for Suit Up.

I've found this is a really fun way to play Tigra, hope you enjoy it!
