This high tempo Cameo deck is focused around getting Nebulainto play to grab Impersonation or Shapeshifter Strike depending on whichever is more relevant to the game state.
Hulkling is rich enough to start with 5 resources even after the two card hit from Cameo. He also has pretty low setup cost.
Nebula: Get Nebula. Play Nebula. Grab Impersonation, clear a scheme, activate shapeshift upgrade, flip down. Shuffle Impersonation back into the deck and heal 2 with the Altman Residence. Recover if you need to. Grab a dual resource upgrade. Flip up. Play a card.
Nebula's statline is excellent, so try to swing twice with her instead of chump blocking.
Remember, Nebula only searches the deck, so be sure to use Altman Residence to make sure her ability has targets.
Strength in Diversity. This is not a Strength in Diversity deck. However, in Winged Shape it hits for a base of 4 which, considering its versatility, is a great deal. He can get to 5 or 6 pretty easily with an ally out.
Allies: Allies in this deck are intended to draw cards to get to Nebula to play more events. Five allies draw cards, three work with Make the Call.
Vivian is here to boost SiD, and to provide utility.
Try to get full value out of the allies. You have 13 hitpoints, 4 Recover, and Altman Residence, so you can tank for them often.
Events: The events are focused around two things.
Getting Nebula or another ally into play, and boosting Strength in Diversity.
Strength in Diversity solves whichever problems you need to. It provides a versatile mix of thwart or damage that ignores Stun, Confuse, Guard, and Retaliate.
Even at 5 traits it's an excellent card. It becomes more expensive at higher player counts, but it can still work at two-player if the other hero has a few traits you don't.
Impersonation is going to be the most common target for Nebula in the early game, then Shapeshifter Strike in the mid to late game.
Upgrades and Supports:
Honorary Avenger is for grabbing Wiccan with Suit Up.
Ready to Rumble is here because you'll be flipping often with Impersonation.
Enhanced Reflexes, Enhanced Awareness, Clarity of Purpose, Deft Focus, and Alien Physiology are your resource generation options.
You definitely don't need all of them. However, with three, you can pretty often get to 9 resources, which means three 2 cost cards.
All the most important allies and events cost 2.
I've used the Enhanced cards here because they're easier to get out on turn 1. By the time you run out of counters, you'll have permanent generators in place, and that usually means you're close to ending the game in true solo.
Mulligan Priorities:
Ditch everything that isn't a Shapeshift Upgrade or a resource generator.
Your best opening is a dual resource/upgrade, Alien Physiology, and any other card. Then grab the shapeshift you want to use.
