Energy, Strength, Genius. ESG. Who needs em'. They are for CHUMPS. It is all about the Audacity! The ONLY resource you need.
Made a few tweaks from previous iterations, with Evaluate Threat being one of the newest additions to the roster. I like Evaluate Threat over Build Support for a number of reasons. There are three big standout factors for me. The first is that Build Support is harder to clear. Although this deck has an impressive 4 supports that could be searched out, I generally find it can be a bit too slow to clear sometimes. Another big factor is that Evaluate Threat retains utility all throughout the game, whereas Build Support is very much favoured early on and loses value as the game progresses. Finally, Evaluate Threat has no cost restrictions on the cards it can search out.
This blowout Player Side Scheme can be used early game to fish out Leo Fitz to search out key set-up cards like Fury's Flying Car and Fury's Watch. Evaluate Threat can also fetch Spider-Girl and play her as a 0 cost Ally to pin down a problematic minion for a couple of turns, if need be, or seek out Safe House #221 for some additional healing in a pinch.
Evaluate Threat can also search out Maria Hill which allows for a more consistent Super Spies team-up, which I have to say is pretty consistent due to all the draw power this deck has in the form of 3 "Bring It!", 3 Espionage, and Face the Past. Although Super Spies can be a hit and miss card, it lines up more often than not, and it also provides a wild resource if need be.
Which ties in nicely to the fact that Evaluate Threat can also search out The Bellerophon and is a particularly effective way of splitting the total cost in what is otherwise an extremely expensive card to put into play, especially in a deck that does not run any double resources. Once its cost is reduced to 4, Fury's Watch can reduce it down to 2, which is pretty manageable, especially if you happen to be engaged with a couple of minions and Man on the Wall is in play. Once The Bellerophon is out, the plan is to keep it in play indefinitely, by virtue of Super Spies. You probably won't need to in solo play as 3 charges is often enough, but for multiplayer, it's a different story.
The Bellerophon is really nice for handling Fury's nemesis set, and is another card (alongside Spider-Girl) that can ease the burden of dealing with Orion via Face the Past. Tough spam will no longer be an issue, and this deck is less reliant in trying to line up a Spray Fire to clear minions.
Finally, I added in Endurance, as a supplementary health boosting card alongside Aggressive Conditioning, which has worked wonders in firing off moar Counterattacks throughout the game. Adding Endurance increases the odds of seeing at least one health increasing card early on as sometimes you end up ditching one during the first deck pass.
The rest of the deck is the same as previous iterations, but to summarise, abuse Secret Agent by spamming loads of PREPARATION cards to manage threat while powering your suit up for blowout attacks.
