This is an interesting deck concept playing on Captain Marvel with the Protection aspect, an aspect that during normal circumstances goes against what she wants to do, which is to flip every turn. This deck will be able to do that though thanks to a mix of Captain Marvel's naturally pretty decent Thwart value, but also thanks to playing a lot of solid allies which can help with the thwarting while also protecting the quite fragile Captain Marvell from damage so she can keep on spending each and every turn Thwarting.

The deck eventually wins thanks to chip damage due to cards like Tackle and Nova pushing the boss to stage III where Captain Marvel will unleash her Energy Channel for a quick win before things gets too nasty. This means that this is a grind deck, and as a grind deck it needs to be up everything the boss has to offer while still gaining momentum. To maintain this the deck is quite heavy on upgrades and supports that helps out with this. Energy Barrier helps negating and return any inevitable chip damage that will hit Captain Marvel while a lot of the other upgrades are focused on making her defensive abilities up to par to in late game being able to tank a couple of hits while setting up the board for the huge win turn, as this isn't a deck that want to face the boss at its worst for longer than absolutely needed. The deck also stars Lockjaw to keep ensuring that not even bad draws will make you unable to block an incoming attack or remove threat if needed be.

This deck is in its early stages and will very likely see updates as new expansions are released.
