Spider-Ham Across the Spiderverse Loop

This is a selfish and reckless Ham deck for the Winning Hand podcast episode featuring Toe to Toe. Make your teammates sweat like a pig as you now have 5 sources of self inflicted villain attacks, all while you set up an inefficient yet awesome loop.

Health is a Resource

Toe to Toe is a wonderful card for Ham. Along with Petulant Pig, Ham now has 5 ways to force enemies to attack him per deck cycle. Since Toe to Toe is especially great against minions, Battle Fury is in there to deal ourselves another point of damage, generate a resource, ready and go about our business. Blood Rage in for similar reasons as it generates a toon counter and a card draw.

Spider Loops

Across the Spider-Verse is a fun card and great when used to bring back one ally. Even though it can be looped, it usually is not since value-wise it's not worth to exhaust more web-warrior cards simply to get more web-warrior allies. However, Ham is a filthy rich degenerate that likes to do silly things. The combo here is to stock up on toon counters then spend them all on Across the Spider-verse loop.

Setup: Spider-Woman, Spider-Man and another ally in play so that you are at the ally limit. Web of Life and Destiny in play, and Madame Web in the discard pile.

Loop: Play Across the Spider-verse, exhaust Web of LnD to put Madam Web in play. Stack the encounter deck with her Response so that the top 3 cards are all the highest amount of boost icons possible, trigger Spider-Woman response to ping a point of damage for Madam Web entering play, then discard Hobie because you are over the ally limit. Hobie's interrupt mills those juicy high boost icons that Madam Web set up to deal damage to the villain. Repeat Across the Spider-verse. Exhaust Madam Web, bring back Hobie, ping for a damage with Spider-Woman. Repeat.

Some Extra Synergies

The deck is ultimately a Web-warrior swarm deck focusing on the response from Spider-Woman to get extra damage. Since web-warriors will leave play regularly, then Warrior of the Great Web is wonderful to pumped up our ATK. Pumped ATK helps to get a basic KO on minions to trigger Blood Rage or Battle Fury. Web of Life and Destiny draws plenty of cards from the web-warriors leaving play so we cycle through the deck to find Toe to Toe and Across the Spider-Verse regularly. Down Time to help with our recovery since we will be getting absolutely recked consistently. And finally Specialized Training and Build Support so that the people you play with can't say "yoU'Re bEiNG SeLfisH" and "hELp ThE tAbLe."
