Rogue Won
This deck is in response to the Winning Hand challenge to include the Rogue ally into a deck.
I've leant into her ability to add other characters' powers to her base stats but looking for ways to exploit that - so here goes....
Target the Big 'Uns
Rogue can get an extra use of Professor X 's thwarting after he does one activation, to essentially have Rogue thwart for 5THWT...pretty handy;
Rockslide typically attacks for 3ATK and takes 2 consequential damage...why not just have him take 1 consequential, and have Rogue hit for 5ATK?.. You can theoretically do this 6 times...which means that's alot of damage;
Use Rogue with Colossus whilst he has Iron Will to have him draw a card!
Deal Or No Deal
The other aspect of this deck is to put toughs on characters so they don't take any damage when Rogue decides to vamp off them.
It's high priority to get Children of the Atom in play so all your characters have all the X Traits...
Once you do, use Serve and Protect to get toughs on either Colossus or any of the other allies...no worries that they're exhausted, as Rogue doesn't require to exhaust a character for her ability. Use Rogue on an ally with Tough to trigger her ability but not hurt her friend!:)
Energy Shield has also been included to give your allies cover over any damage...Rogue or otherwise.
Use Energy Shield on Northstarto trigger his ability but not take damage, to reduce the attack/scheme on the villain; Or use it with #Rockslide to keep him around even more when you use him with Rogue...!
The Rest
Taunt is added because its just so good with Colossus...use it to get more cards, and hopefully more of the hero cards to keep the tempo up;
Med Team is also available to keep your allies around longer for Rogue to exploit them!
Finally, there has been a conscious effort to try and include as much energy resources in the deck for both Nightcrawler and the use of Energy Shield...
Rogue is alot of fun but it may take time to build you board state for her to exploit...this isn't a Spike deck...it's more a Johnny...amd more for just having fun with!
Love the title!!
