Love Rocket and I've been meaning to try the Groot ally with Ops room. This looks really awesome!

Cool combo with shake it off and the ally!

That Groot + Shake it Off + Hangar Bay combo is chef’s kiss…we spent a lot of time on that during the Groot episode because it’s so much fun!!

Ops Room is a solid new addition to the classic Rocket Repurpose deck. Nice!!

I love this deck. and that great use of Spider-Byte in protection for heroes that have tech. I know you already have 41 cards but Leo Fitz was so helpful to always pull out an extra card when you are in Alter-ego. I combo the the discard tech card plus Leo and I'd have 9 cards heading in to hero mode.

@marktry I love Leo Fritz! I think you could swap him in for the team up and gain some value if you can get him down!

Yeah, do that. I know that you got Groot to protect, but I'm always going AE for Rocket. I also usually include Soaring Acrobatics for Rocket since he will get that extra +1 in thwart or Attack, once you make him Aerial.

I personally don't love too many conditional set up cards and this deck already has multiple, but try Soaring and let me know how it goes. :)

This looks very fun! I stumbled onto that Ops Room / Groot combo in a recent Nightcrawler ally deck. While he was the focus, Groot was also incredible in it. I do love your thematics here though as well. Can't wait to try it out.

Fun deck! There has been a lot of chatter on some of the Discord channels recently about using him with Ops Room, and this deck looks pretty good! Have you considered a copy or two of Pinned Down to get Groot an extra heal after using Hanger Bay?

@Schmendrix feels like you wrapped Groot in Adamantium then added a layer of Vibranium for good measure. Played this against Green Goblin last night and Groot felt borderline indestructible. Ops Room + Hangar Bay meant Groot would often finish the villain phase having not only protected Rocket and removed threat but would often end up at full healthy thanks to the defend against a Goblin Thrall or Soldier leading to a net heal due to their 1ATK. Shake it off was amazing as well. And med team is a great back up plan if you need it in a pinch. Good luck fighting through my buddy Groot you flarkin’ villain!

This deck is tight and also insanely cool. You really just took a "solved" hero and just decided to show everyone what else is up with him. The fact that you made Groot good with Rocket is crazy impressive. Seriously, well done.

I'm rather new to deck building, but will the deck be too dependent on drawing a single card (Groot)?

This essentially means we might have to cycle an entire deck to see Groot and perhaps it might be too late if the card is at the bottom of the deck? Or am I missing something. Thanks!

@SymbioteZero good question! I try not to build decks dependent on a single card. Charlie-27 and Martyr can both use Hangar Bay to good effect. If you don't draw Groot early, you definitely have play. And for what it's worth, Energy Shield is a pretty strong deck accelerant for Rocket.
