Magneto just wants to be left alone, but the villains keep scheming! Thus he's always Ready for a Fight.
Simple deck trying to squeeze the most value out of all Magneto cards. The ideal gameplay is:
- Flipping to alter-ego
- Return important cards with Survivor, Asteroid M and Mutant Education
- Draw them back with Mutant Education and Weapon X
- Heal with recovery, Asteroid M and X-Mansion
- Draw 6 but avoid scheming by flipping with Ready for a Fight, returning it to hand with Practiced Plan, ignore the attack with Perseverance, draw a card with Moira MacTaggert
- Wreck everything
- Repeat
Not a lot of thwart and zero allies so you should ignore everything and go for the kill. Between Metal Shards, Perseverance, Magnetic Bubble and Magnetic Missile you have the survivability to pull it off.
