From the World of John Wick: Black Widow

"You want to win? Improvise. Adapt. Cheat."

Well, not cheat the rules of the game but rather cheat the villain!

Let's break down some of the cards and their purpose.

Allies

Brother Voodoo will help nab an event off of his effect. He is also here for thwarting. This deck gets thin once you have your upgrades and supports out, so you will likely hit an event in the late game.

White Widow can stay alive the entire game due to the many Preparation cards you will be triggering. She is helpful for ping damage but her main focus will be thwarting.

Events

Return the Favor is one of our main combos in the deck. Once you have Grappling Hook in play, you are doing 5 damage plus 1 more (or 2 if you have Practiced Plan) from Black Widow's Widowmaker ability.

Supports

Dr. Sinclair will be healing us as needed when we take a trip to alter-ego. As long as you have Quincarrier in play, this will always be live.

Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons go hand in hand. Leo can tutor from your deck any of your Tech cards, such as Energy Barrier and Grappling Hook, while Jemma can help pay for them.

Upgrades

Change of Fortune is perfect with Black Widow. Her Widowmaker ability triggers anytime a Preparation card is activated and most of these cards trigger during the villain phase. That last ping damage can knock out a minion and draw you two cards.

Practiced Plan will help recur needed cards such as Grappling Hook and Ready for a Fight.

Ready for a Fight makes flipping down safer and grants us a bigger hand size. Flipping down is important so you can make use of Safe House #29, Dr. Sinclair, and Leo Fitz. Once you trigger this effect and flip up to hero form, block the attack from the villain and your Synth-Suit will ready you back up because you triggered RFAF! On your next turn you will be in hero form, ready to Return the Favor!
