Magik: The Gathering

This deck is all about Gathering X-MEN allies with "To Me, My X-Men!", Make the Call, Call for Backup and New Recruits.

I couldn't fit Danger Room Training and Game Time because I capped the deck at minimum cards just like I would a Magic: The Gathering deck. That's not a big deal though, for the most part I want to use them up to make room for more allies.

I decided against The Power of Leadership because of Magik's cost reducing ability and went with two copies of X-Men Instruction to reshuffle allies into my deck, then went X-Mansion over The X-Jet for the X-Men Instruction synergy (and its 1 point of healing isn't bad either).

With Uncanny X-Men in play most allies are free off the top of your deck, or only cost 1. So you can play "To Me, My X-Men!" to get one in for "free", then return to your hand at the end of the phase. Then next phase Limbo it to the top of your deck and play it on the cheap!

Thanks @boomguy! I've got another MTG-inspired deck list brewing but I won't post it for a few days (it's not working as well on the table as it does in my mind LOL)

LOL -- just reading the comments. The title alone is worth a "like!" "To Me, My X-Men!" looks like it must function really well in this deck. :-)

I have to admit you have me curious about the other deck you're working on!

@AbisMal "TMMX" can still whiff but it's been pretty good here.

My other MTG build is an "Izzet Battery" deck using Spider Woman in Blue and Red (the Izzet colors), but I'm not happy with its performance thus far. I'm going to scrap it and make a fresh start lol

@SoloMarvelChampion LOL I had to make a major overhaul of a deck recently, too.

I'll be curious about the Spider-Woman deck when it's done since I have an idea for a Spider-Woman deck I hope I get to somewhat soon. :-)
