I was wanting to play around with "Stop Hitting Yourself" and hit upon this deck concept. Having played a few games with it, it's pretty solid and I'm enjoying it.

Domino likes to defend. With a base DEF of 3, and with Probability Field boosting her DEF every time she defends and her bonus for Wild resources, she is off to the races on getting high numbers for "Stop Hitting Yourself" to play with. So we add to that with Armored Vest and by defending with cards like Desperate Defense and Riposte (which tacks on another bonus 3 damage on top of the damage from "Stop Hitting Yourself"). Electrostatic Armor and Flow Like Water can each tack another point of damage to the total.

It has been common for me to defend for 7 and then deal 7 damage back. 10 damage when using Riposte, and that's not even the possible maximum! (Which I think is 14 with everything in place and drawing Jackpot! for Probability Field)

The upgrades you want to get into play to make this work are, in order of importance:

1) Probability Field 2) Armored Vest 3) Nerves of Steel (makes it easier to play your +2 defense cards) 4) All the others are icing on the cake

Hold on a minute, this is a Domino deck, where are Digging Deep and White Fox? They are sitting this deck out. It's more important to have the double resources on The Power of Protection to pay for "Stop Hitting Yourself" when you need it. As an attack, it can't benefit from Nerves of Steel and Digging Deep is only 1 resource when it comes time to pay for it. White Fox could be added, but since Domino is wanting to do the defending, we need her chump block less and it makes the deck a bit leaner.

Alter-Ego turns can really get some work done, using Defensive Training to fish out either a Defense card or "Stop Hitting Yourself" while The Painted Lady can save more of those same cards that get discarded using Domino's hero cards. Meanwhile Pip the Pug can set up a good start to your hero turn or hand draw. This is on top of using Domino's alter ego-ability to stack your hand (I enjoy paying for something with a double resource, then swapping it back into hand to pay for something else)

Ready for a Fight is there as a nice backup, but so far I've not had to rely on it much. You could swap those two cards out for Not Today! or Never Back Down to have more defense cards.

In Multiplayer, it may even be more beneficial to replace Unflappable and Change of Fortune for additional copies of Armored Vest and either Nerves of Steel or Electrostatic Armor. It will help get those cards into play faster and the extra copies can be given to teammates.

Synergy and theme come together beautifully in this one.

Expert Defense has gone into most of my "Stop Hitting Yourself" decks since it is 0 cost for 3 additional damage

There's only 5 cards that Power of Protection can hit, so I might consider dropping one of them for Dauntless.

@spinnerrogers Thank You!

@CANAS1AN It's hard to argue against that efficiency. I do like the kickers on the +2 DEF cards and have the ability to pay with them using Nerves of Steel. Riposte results in +5 damage and Desperate Defense grants a ready, which can be an attack, giving +2 for the card and up to +2-5 more from an attack with Probability Field. You could just add Expert Defense to the card count though.

@Turbowombat Thanks for the feedback! I still want both of them because using them for the cards they pay for ("Stop Hitting Yourself" and Nerves of Steel in particular) are so important to making the deck function as intended and not completely empty your hand.

This is great. I never understood why there weren't more people playing Domino with a Perfect Defense/Protection build (my favorite way to play her). In a multiplayer game, I might consider swapping Ready for a Fight x1 for Angel's Aerie, but for solo this looks so solid. Best of luck (not that Domino will need it).
