Here it is! A second inspiration from Captain America: Brave New World. Today I have a Captain America Deck featuring Aerial cards. We do not have Sam Wilson Captain America in the game yet, so I gave Steve Rogers Aerial Cards and ensured that Sam Wilson's Falcon was in the Deck. This will hopefully give the illusion of Sam Wilson Flying through the air and being Captain America.
Key cards to make it feel like Sam Wilson’s Captain America:
Five Allies with the Aerial trait (and one that should have had it, Stinger). Since we are hoping to use Flying Formation, this seemed like a good fit.
We also included a few S.H.E.I.L.D Allies and Mission Leader to tie back to his military roots.
To get these allies to the table we have Suit Up, Make the Call, and Call For Backup. We've also brought a variety of upgrades and Soaring Acrobatics to give them all a boost.
Finally, we have plenty of resource cards to never miss a beat on being able to play the cards when and how we want to.
Conclusion
This was a blast to build and run. It feels simple enough, though I am sure I might be missing a card or two to smooth the deck out. Let me know what y’all think and how you might shake it up.
This deck looks so fun and thematic! I really enjoy the idea that you're trying to play Sam Wilson Cap rather than just Steve Rogers. It's a really cool and unique idea! Keep the thematic builds coming! :)
