This decks focuses on stunning the villain, also with some support for stunning minions, which is Venom's weakest point. Remember you can use Venom's Pistol to add +1 to your defense, which can lead to a passive 5 defense. Also, try to play your defense events with Venom's ability: Symbiotic Bond.
Black Widow and Get Behind Me! provides some protection against nasty Treachery cards.
