Deck concept

I'm a huge believer in Domino, an ally that can do so many neat things. But at the time of writing there's fewer than 20 decks using her here on MarvelCDB, which is a shame.

Man-is-Obsolete (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/32092/lucky-domino-arrow-1.0) showed how Domino could be used with Hawkeye's quiver to ensure you always hit an arrow. You can do similar things with other heroes who discard cards, like SP//dr Suit. A previous deck of mine (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/32961/smash-domino-1.0) used her to set up Hulk with a to discard. Here, we're using her to cheat at Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Card choices

Using the Pool aspect gives a lot of great choices for cards but I intend this as a solo deck so the emphasis is on cards that will accelerate set-up, especially Mulligan, or heal Domino: Tic-Tac-Toe, United We Stand.

The Leadership cards are mostly a set of fairly cheap allies so that we have someone to hide behind while putting the key pieces into place. With Stick-To-Itiveness and Healing Factor in play it is very possible for Spider-Woman to tank every hit that comes her way, while Domino does her thing with Rock, Paper, Scissors and Tic-Tac-Toe, but that's quite a lot of cards to get down and will usually take more than one pass through the deck.

I rarely use the double resources for Spider-Woman because her deck is pretty full of cheap things and once both Finesse and the Deft Focus are down, the double-resources can't do much. Usually I would put Assess the Situation in their place, but here there were just too many good Pool cards I wanted to use, so there wasn't space.

You could probably do slightly better in your choice of Pool allies, but I wanted an all-female line up because of the deck name.

Playing the deck

As mentioned already, there are a number of pieces that need to be gotten into play with this deck, so the emphasis is very much on surviving until those are all in place. Mulligan can be a really valuable card at this stage if you have a hand with none of your key pieces in it. Using a resource for Stick-To-Itiveness or Tic-Tac-Toe doesn't count as 'playing' a card so you can also squeeze out a little more value that way, but the key thing is to get Domino, Healing Factor, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Tic-Tac-Toe and Stick-To-Itiveness out as soon as possible.

Once that's done, you can start to shift from hiding behind your allies to taking the hits yourself, and it starts to make sense to put the powerful Pool allies into play. Make sure to leave a slot for White Fox though - when you have her in hand Domino can deliberately lose at Rock, Paper, Scissors to get her into play.

I tried this deck with just Tic-Tac-Toe but that isn't enough healing. Adding in the United We Stand ensures that we can always keep Domino in play, but there is usually healing power left over for other allies too.

There isn't a big finish in this deck, just the cumulative power of the allies, Venom Blast, and Tic-Tac-Toe. It's always been enough in the games I've played.

How to lose with this deck

The ways to lose with this deck are to be slow setting up, so the villain gets ahead of you, or to let too many allies off your bench. Crisis of Infinite Deadpools isn't actually too big an issue once you are set up - you are essentially having to do 3 damage a turn to Dreadpool, but that isn't that hard to do with all the sources of damage from allies and Spider-Woman herself, so it is more of a delay than a crisis in my experience.

Conclusion

Domino is obviously going to get a lot more prominent once Bishop and Magik are out but she's got some great lines of play already, so I'll keep banging the drum for her.
