Spider-Man: Hit Smarter Not Harder

I just got Nova and Ironheart, and wanted to use the new aggression package and science synergy. Peter Parker was the obvious choice to pair with these cards.

Science resources: This deck is built around Honed Technique, so we want to have lots of science resources. Ingenuity is a must. Every event and ally we've included is a science resource. We have Nick Fury, Moon Girl, and Black Cat to give use lots more card draw. Brawn helps chip away at thwarting, and Angela helps pull out minions to fuel the events.

Events: Swinging Web Kick is going to be 11 damage every time with Honed Technique, which is incredible. Melee is another obvious card to bring, dealing 6 damage to two different enemies. No Quarter can help get you more events, and deals 6 damage for 2. Chase Them Down can help get a little more thwarting in for killing minions, and Toe to Toe is great with Peter's high defense and backflip. Smash the Problem is a bit of a flex pick, Peter is pretty bad at thwarting, and this deck was paired with a protection deck, so we needed all the thwart we could get.

Supports and Upgrades: There are a lot of events, so Martial Prowess gets a lot of value, and Assault Training can keep your favorite events coming back. Because I had a protection partner, I rarely needed to defend, so buffing up my attack with Combat Training and Fluid Motion found a lot of use.

If you were to modify this, Smash the Problem, Combat Training, and Fluid Motion are probably the main flex pics depending on who you are playing with. I have not tested this solo, but I imagine it can be fairly strong with some light tweaking. Also, my partner had Pinpoint which kept Nick and Moon Girl coming back over and over and over.

I used this to beat the Galaxy's Most Wanted campaign on standard, paired with Nova Protection.
