Intro

Snakes got you down? Hydra agents plotting and you need someone capable of foiling schemes while beating down some bad guys? With this deck you have the power to punch a few fascists all while stopping their evil plots.

This is a pretty straight to the point justice deck that leans heavily into the great kit that Cap has for damage dealing and supplements it with some well rounded thwart events. It requires little setup to get going, but will benefit from upgrades like Sense of Justice and Super-Soldier Serum for resource generation later in the game to increase the events played per turn.

Breakdown

............................... ....................................................................................................
Role Threat management and all round damage dealer
Complexity Low, it kinda plays itself
Jank The Captain likes to keep it on the up and up
Thematic Feel You're going to hold the line and keep the villain in check until it's time for a Heroic Strike

Attacking

............................... ....................................................................................................
Villain Damage
Minion Management

Your not a primary attacker but Cap's kit is already pretty beefy, so you can hold your own. Shield Toss is your friend in games with lots of minions and Heroic Strike gives you damage plus a stun. Build up your Beat Cop to take care of the surprise big minions that hit the table when your aggression player doesn't have the juice.

Thwarting

............................... ....................................................................................................
Main Scheme
Side Schemes

Justice events are just good. Like really good. If you know the scenario you're going into you may want to swap out one card to go three of two others. This is where sideboarding will help. My preference is to not run decks with more than 40/41 cards but I could see an arguement for 3 of on all the justice events here.

Consistency
Cost curve

You've got Steve's Apartment but you don't really want to go down for it very often. Some smart Clear the Area usage can get you as card or two but the real kicker with this. is getting your upgrades/supports/allies down and out of your deck. Then it doesn't really matter what event you pull, they are all good.

Defense

............................... ....................................................................................................
Defending
Healing
Status Management
Villain Phase Shananagans

You can defend but most of the time it's not worth it, you're better off taking the hit, chumping someone, or using Shield Block.
