That’s right folks, Miles is done with the superhero life and wants to be Spider-Man No More!

And by that I mean this is a deck where Miles wants to spend as much time in alter-ego as possible, by taking advantage of his own incredible villain control and also the power of the Justice aspect to confuse the villain and manage threat.

By ending the turn in alter-ego form as often as possible Miles gets to take advantage of the full 6 card hand-size, which becomes 7 once Ganke Lee hits the table. He can also make excellent use of Meditation to play expensive cards like Monica Chang, Nick Fury, and Sonic Rifle to help him control the board.

Speaking of SHIELD, we also have Agent 13 to get the most out of Helicarrier, Jefferson Davis, and Surveillance Team. Quake is also here to help with minion control.

The key to making all this work is Double Life. Do as much as you can do in alter-ego form, use Double Life to go to hero form and ready after using a Meditation or his REC. From there you can take any hero actions, and then flip back down to alter-ego if the villain is confused or you have threat under control. Make sure to use Miles’ alter-ego ability to shuffle Double Life back into the deck as often as possible so you can be playing it on most turns.

Even if you do have to end your turn in hero form once in awhile you have so many ways to stun the villain you shouldn’t be taking too many attacks.

And thanks to all the SHIELD cards you can make great use of Global Logistics. With this in hand you can guarantee that even if the villain isn’t confused they aren’t going to get a big scheme and then also play an Advance.

By taking advantage of all the card draw and resources available to you you should be able to maintain control of the game, and then once you’re well setup you can quickly burn the villain down with Web-Shot’s and Arachnobatics!

For your opening hand you really want to see Meditation and Sonic Rifle. I don’t normally include 3 of the Confuse Gun but it’s so important to get one out immediately and guarantee 2 confuses that I thought it was worth including 3 copies. A Double Life is also a key card to mulligan for. Best case scenario is to Meditate out a rifle, Double Life into hero form, use Spider-Man and the rifle and whatever other hero cards you might have, and then flip back down.

This deck is a ton of fun to play if you like flipping back and forth a lot and working out the best order to take all your actions. You can see for yourself as I played it here (https://youtu.be/JyNEwOZKaqg) on my YouTube channel Get Up and Game!
