Daredevil knows how to handle himself in a fight, inside and outside the courtroom. But sometimes he needs help. Both inside the courtroom and on the streets. Luckily, he's got his Beat Cop backup!

Some cops are dirty, but not these ones! Getting them out isn't too hard, either, thanks to Enhanced Olfaction, and we have One Way or Another and five side schemes to help us have enough targets to trigger it.

Build Support - Hey, free Beat Cop! If you also have one in hand and Olfaction on this scheme, that's two (almost) free ones!

Lay the Trap - Villain damage is good. We win doing a lot of it.

Specialized Training - This one is interesting! We could either get the THW or ATK upgrade...or even the health one! With sister Maggie, we can heal a lot.

Superpower Training - This is mostly for The Man Without Fear, but even if we're built, using this to get Olfaction off and then play the top card of the sense deck is still pretty good!

Focus the Senses - This one is great to perfectly place every sense you want!

On the Streets

We're looking to trigger Stealth Training as much as we can, so using One Way or Another and our side schemes help us have targets for our Beat Cops to tee up the side schemes so Daredevil can beat them exactly and trigger Stealth Training for some stuns! Then we can Waylay, possibly getting a little discount from Enhanced Olfaction. Beat Cop can also help clean up some minions if needed!

In the Court

Flipping down feels like it's not a problem with Daredevil! Foggy is great for cleaning up the main, and Nelson and Murdock help us keep the game alive with a confuse! I've also found, with Daredevil's healing, he doesn't always need to heal on the flip up, so you can play a side scheme (or target an encounter one!) and use any combo of Beat Cop, Disguise, Living Lie Detector, Deposition, and Foggy Nelson to defeat the scheme and confuse the villain (or minion if you need it) to put Float Like a Butterfly online! My main struggle with Float Like a Butterfly has been I often can't get the confuse at the start of my turn on the flip up from AE, but Daredevil excels at it!

Allies

Blindspot - She helps us confuse so we can get Float Like a Butterfly going

Ghost Rider - He does as well

Closing Arguments

We have 42 cards, but there's a lot of upgrades, Victory cards, and card draw as well, so I'm fine with it. If you're a 40 card purist, you can drop One Way or Another. I do find the card draw to really help, though, so find going to 42 very worth it. I also wonder if I have too many doubles, given how good Enhanced Olfaction is. You could cut Strength and Genius and leave the two that feed Ghost Rider.

As a bonus treat, our Beat Cops are also great targets for Bullseye, so we can keep Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Sister Maggie safe! We also have Invisibility Gear to act as an emergency button for a villain attack, or more Bullseye insurance!

Good luck on the beat, collect those affidavits, and mind the assassins!

I made this Nightcrawler deck to go with this one, so I can two hand it through Fear No Evil: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/63918/nein-freund-1.0

The Devils of Hells Kitchen will be unstoppable!

Don't call the cops because I am robbing this decklist!

I hope it serves (and protects) you well, @Relaxingend42!

To unlock the full potential of your "The Beat Goes On" deck, you should trim it from 42 down to exactly 40 cards. Daredevil heavily relies on finding key setup cards early, such as his alter-ego supports like Foggy Nelson or Karen Page, along with his essential upgrades. The leaner your main deck is, the faster you will draw into these permanent pieces, ensuring you have the perfect resource match for his powerful events. The ideal targets to cut are one copy each of One Way or Another and Beat Cop . Thanks to Daredevil's built-in abilities and cards like Cross-Examination or Living Lie Detector, your deck is already an absolute threat-removing monster. Running a second copy of One Way or Another risks pulling unnecessary encounter cards that could overwhelm the board, especially in solo play. Meanwhile, a third copy of Beat Cop is simply too slow; your threat control is already so efficient that the third cop usually ends up being discarded as an expensive resource. Removing these two cards makes your investigative engine run much smoother and speeds up your early-game setup.

This is so similar to the deck I want to run once JJ is out. Except I want to sub in strat session and entrapment for the PSSs and basically never have to flip up. Looks like fun I'll try this out.

@Dami22 If you have to resort to AI to post your unsolicited advice towards this deckbuilder, at least ask it to spit out something with a less condescending tone. Or, an even better idea, write something yourself and practice developing your communication skills.

Deck looks great by the way Caldias - especially the part where you point out exactly how you would cut it down to 40 cards at the end.

Sorry for my bad English, I used a translator for this

@Dami22 Your comment was fine, there's nothing condescending in it.

@MrSelfDestruct Thank you!

@Dami22 no worries, I did put a little section at the end about what to cut if you're a 40 card ride or die, but my experience with the game is that doubling up on key upgrades, like Deft Focus, actually helps you see them more often at the expense of going over 40 cards. One Way or Another can be punishing if you don't play it intentionally, but I find it accelerates your build-out and justifies its existence.

After playing this one a bit more, I think cutting two doubles may be the right move, specifically Strength and Genius, if folks really need to have that 40 card spot, but again I've found going over 1-2 cards to be negligible.

Kind of a fun fact, but SWU is a game in which you top deck a lot, as in you draw 2 cards instead of refill your hand, and one of the rare bases that makes you increase your minimum deck size by 10 for a mere 3 HP extra on your base.

So that said I think never going over minimum deck limits is a good baseline rule, but I think with intention, like a lot of gaming rules, those rules can be broken without harming the output.

Either way, thanks for the fun conversation!

@trewiltrewil Those subs sounds great and I look forward to seeing your JJ deck!

@Dami22 @Grok how do I make an MCDB comment?

Jul 26, 2026 Dami22 · 183

@Caldias I really like that rule! Up until now, the 40-card limit was an absolute must for me – I strictly trimmed my decks to exactly 40 cards. But your point makes total sense. I'm definitely going to test my decks with 42 cards now and see how it feels. Thanks for the food for thought!

@Dami22 Thanks for the feedback and for taking the time to drop your thoughts! I hope you have fun with Fear No Evil!

Thanks @Caldias for sharing your deck. Your deck is the one that I chose to play Daredevil for my first few games. :)

I made a few tweaks to suit my own deck building biases/interests, primarily:

If you're curious, here's the link to my deck: marvelcdb.com Please note that I don't play solo; I play 2-handed so Daredevil's lower damage output is acceptable because damage is mostly covered by the other player.

Daredevil is a lot of fun, and I look forward to trying him in other aspects. Thanks again for sharing a good deck to give me my first taste of this hero. :)

This deck is tagged as justice multiplayer, but those One Way or Another cards are very bad for 3 and worse for 4 players. Also lacking Overwatch. This is not a thwarting deck I would bring to a multiplayer game that expects me to bring big thwarting numbers every turn.

Jul 28, 2026 Caldias · 6595

@DynamicDuke Thanks for the feedback, but I disagree that you need Overwatch for big thwarting numbers and that One Way or Another is bad in 3-4 player. Some side schemes can be bad, but there are plenty that either have flat threat or low hinder, and you just need to be intentional.

That said, this deck is more than capable of thwarting for 12 or more in a turn. Cycling the +2 threat removal sense, along with Man Without Fear readying and having Foggy down, you'd just need a Deposition or Living Lie Detector to get there. This deck is more about proccing status than big numbers threat removal, but I've still been fine being the main threat remover with this deck in higher multiplayer games.

Overwatch is certainly a way you could go, but I don't like using that unless I'm pulling 6 threat with it consistently, which this deck doesn't do. What this deck does well is efficiently defeating side schemes without over-thwarting while statusing and doing damage support when needed.

You should post your take on a 3-4 player justice threat removal deck with Overwatch! Would love to see what you come up with.

This deck looks like a bunch of fun! Love how it's not leaning on some of the go-to Justice cards (that are always my crutch lol), and how so many of the cards fit right in with the DD theme. Thank you for sharing!

I'm struggling with the defense of the hero. We dont have anything to defend and just 10 health. You spend most of the time on alter ego?

Jul 29, 2026 Caldias · 6595

@Kole101 Thank you!

@Kenji I'm flipping a lot, for sure, but I also use the -3 ATK sense quite often on the villain. Once Sister Maggie is down, you recover for a lot and I find the extra thwarting and subsequent statusing helps make that safe

Jul 29, 2026 Kenji · 21

@Caldiasyou cannot choose the sense you want in the deck right?

Jul 29, 2026 Caldias · 6595

@Kenji The Man Without Fear, Deposition, and Focus the Senses let you put senses wherever you want, and Karen Page lets you recur the side scheme or Deposition. Between all that I've not had much of a problem getting the defense sense out most of the time when I needed it! You still have two allies to block with as well, so I've found that to be enough!
