Practicing Exorcism.
Play Exorcism as much as possible with a mental or wild on the top of the deck to confuse the villain so we can power down every other turn.
Magik's interrupt lets us put Exorcism on the top of the deck when we power up. Moira MacTaggert lets us draw that card. If no mental or wild resource is there, use Cosmo to advance the deck. Still no mental or wild, then play scrying to manipulate the deck. Still no mental or wild, then limbo can help switch out the card. Play Exorcism with X-Gene and Sense of Justice. Still didn't get the confuse the villain, then activate our backup - Sonic Rifle.
Then we can play our other cards. Stay up in hero form for a round and then power down.
Mutant Education lets us put Stepping Disc back in our deck.
