Honed Technique + Firepower is a fun combo. Everyone knows this. Most heroes need to build up to it. You have to find Weapons and pay for them. You have to find HT to make it better. This deck more often than not is ready to go turn 1. 2 copies of HT and her own Training Regimen make it super easy to find early. The 2nd half is Firepower and Betsy gets to start every game with 2 weapon upgrades in play. No finding them, they are just there for you. Now that you are setup, we look for ways to boost the damage even further. Aggressive Energy, Warrior Skill & Directed Force will boost most attacks. With 7 resource cards that always generate a and Psi-Knife, you should always hit the HT kicker. After you get Psimitar, you are ready to end the villain, even in 4p. Firepower starts the game at 3ef for 6 damage but more likely, 3ef for 8 (4+4). I am counting exhausting your psi-knife generators as an additional resource cost. Aggressive Energy (or Warrior Skill) + Honed Firepower 3ef for 10(5+5). With everything on the board and a Directed Force + Aggressive Energy in hand to boost your Firepower, there is potential for a 3ef attack for 24 dmg (8+8+8). Technically, you could play this solo and be ok, Betsy's ability to have 3 Thw should carry her depending on the scenario, but this is my go-to deck for 4p damage output.

As soon as I read the title I thought, “Firepower, of course!” Two permanent weapon upgrades on the table at setup, why didn’t I see it myself. Well done.

I used this against Spiral and Psylocke came out on top. Fun deck.

I don't love honed technique with firepower, as firepower only costs one. Psimitar is not great with it as playing psionic cards for the bonus exhausts it and it is a restricted weapon. Aggressive energy and power of aggression are not my favorite either with Psylocke's 4 hand size and the inconsistency of drawing it with firepower and firepower costing 1. Betsy doesn't need resource generators, she needs card draw. I think this deck is trying to do 2 separate things, which is fine, but doesn't exploit psylocke's maximum potential for supercharging and recurring firepower and flurry of blades. I think there is a better approach for that. Feel free to check: marvelcdb.com

I got a suggestion there to add sharpshooter, and 100% agree that is better for psylocke firepower too.
