This is meant to be played alongside a Rocket deck specifically this one, https://marvelcdb.com/deck/view/1058405?deck_name=Rocket%20Power

However it can also be played solo or alongside any other deck with some modifications.

Treehouse:

Groot can be tough to play, keeping counters on to power his events presents a challenge and flipping regularly can be difficult. Enter Treehouse which lets us get a tough card when we flip to AE. This allows us to get to AE and not have to worry about how to preserve our precious counters on the flip back.

A flip to AE can be 6 counters added with Fertile Ground out (3 on the flip down and 3 the next turn) allowing you to start your turn with enough counters to make his events worthwhile and a tough to preserve them.

Once in hero form use his upgrades to spend counters and be a thwart or Attack monster. Make sure to use the events first to maximize efficiency in most cases.

If you're at Max counters, use his basic and ready with Lashing Vines to remove some. Play Fruition to stack more back on and then play an event.

Flip regularly to continue putting counters back on. Hitting his attack/thwart events for 10 is a really good feeling.

There is a soft minion focus in the deck to give us more toughs from "Come Get Me, Bub!". Use Root Stomp to clear them and get a counter.

Stun Gun can incapacitate them for a turn allowing you to use Hard Knocks and get another tough.

C.I.T.T provides readies and ensures that The Power in All of Us doesn't get wasted as it can be spent for the 2 resource requirement.

Playing this alongside a Rocket deck means we have access to Flora and Fauna consistently allowing for more counters/readies.

In solo, use Med Team to keep Rocket alive allowing for consistent use of Flora and Fauna.

I have played this solo and been able to consistently keep him on board to help with thwarting or minion control.

Neighborhood Kids:

What's a tree house without friends?

We already talked about our best bud Rocket but we have some other friends who frequent our Treehouse.

Gamora allows us to discard until we see an event which is really nice mid/late game when our board is built up with upgrades/supports.

Professor X brings confuse for flips and thwart.

Snowguard is another who can be kept on board with med team. She can be your thwart or Attack depending on how you want to play.

Hope Summers lets us search for a superpower card which all of groot's events and upgrades are. Grab Fruition to add counters or "We Are Groot" to get a tough.

Patriot gets a tough everytime we engage a minion. This gives us a second line of defense after playing come get me and he can defend for another player if need be.

I've really enjoyed this deck and it has performed well. Id love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!
