A tempo/control deck using Drop Kick for The Winning Hand Podcast Episode 79 - "Clickbait Title for Engagement"
Kickin' It
Not too much to say here about this deck. It is chock full of physical (and wild) resources to obtain the kicker on these usually sidelined events. It won't play well against stalwart Villains.
- three copies each of three different events which (counterintuitively) requiring fist resources for the kicker (pun intended): Drop Kick, Tackle, and Concussive Blow. All of these cards also add status cards for control (this is part of their value... they are not worth playing if you aren't interrupting villain activations)
- Gamora has two copies of Keen Instincts to generate wild resource for events, which can be fists if you so choose (or can be other types for Multitalented)
- other help comes from Martial Prowess, Enhanced Physique, and Helicarrier
- survive using Crosscounter, Groot, ally blocking, and stuns
- like most tempo decks, you just stick to the game plan, stay focused, and look up to find yourself looking at "0 0" on the Villain health dial.

In the three games I played with this deck before posting, I actually didn't find it to be necessary (there are already quite enough fist/wild resources to go for the gold), but if I'm including The Power in All of Us, I often try to find a place for them (as a wealth multiplier) |
