Jedi Soldier

So, I really just wanted to enjoy Haymaker again. The deck became more than Haymaker, but 2 for 4 damage with Winter Soldier felt fun.

The Real Plan

Do lots of damage. Live Dangerously, pick up some Laser Swords, and do lots of damage. If there's time to get a Side Holster so you can play the Winter Rifle, do even more lots of damage.

The Core Set

I didn't intend to make this limited in the collection (though if you remove Side Holster and not play Winter Rifle, it's only 4 packs required), but it was fun to bring Haymaker to help with damage. I mean, don't get me wrong, Winter Soldier doesn't need MORE damage. All of his events are already Attack events. but come on...who doesn't want MORE damage.

Sidebar

No sidebar this time. This deck was played at all player counts without changes. It's definitely the damage dealing role

I love this, and great to see another deck from you! I've seen this played in person a few times and it's awesome. I love going back to old cards like Haymaker!

I love that it's a Pool deck and the art for Haymaker features Falcon. Making Bucky play a card featuring Sam over and over is very 'Pool coded, and it makes me giggle.

This looks like a fun Pool deck, and I don't say that often!

AndyR is back! I ain't seen a Distraction deck in some time, will give this a whirl!

The title of the deck sold it for me, but this looks so much fun regardless. I’ve only just picked up the Deadpool pack and will definitely be giving this a try.

Winter Soldier has become my new fav for the moment and Pool has always detracted me. But I took this through Thanos and had a blast!

Andy, I have wanted to like Pool. I have never been able to like Pool. I have tried to like Pool a few times with no success. I feel like this deck may actually do it. Thank you. I will keep you posted and you are a wonderful human.

I remember I enjoyed Haymaker once. It was the spring of '20, some called it the plague spring....

@boomguy @Caldias @MrSelfDestruct thanks y’all! I appreciate the kind words

@Pedroq I love that! Feels like such a great pool twist for Bucky.

@R8C2 @LemonyRanpo I hope it goes well! Thanks for giving it a chance.

@Rustygoatboat nice! That’s awesome hearing that it took down Thanos. I’ve definitely had a fun time living dangerously with it.

@duffymw haha, reading that comment absolutely made my day! I hope it helps you enjoy pool a little bit more. You’re a wonderful human, too!

@Pickles right?! I couldn’t pass up on the chance to use it again!

"Yeah, I use the force. Brute force!" Haymaker to the face

You can never go wrong with Laser Swords and a good event heavy build. Love seeing you making Haymaker great again. Bucky is a great way to utilize such a classic card.

Great design, my dude. Looks like a ton of fun!

yes, all of this. pink lightsabers. underutilised cards. live dangerously. it's beautiful.

Great deck! In a three-player game against Sabretooth with Sentinels and Band of Badoon, Bucky was a Jedi Master. Although Haymaker was always fun to play using Bucky's arm, I had more fun seeing how many times I could ready Bucky in a single turn with the assistance of Stick-To-Itiveness and several plays of Silent Infiltration and Practiced Plan. Excelsior!
