I've been playing Marvel Champions for a long time, and since Cyclops' release I've been trying to make him into a true Aggression hero, breaking away from his Leadership pigeonhole. With the release of Winter Soldier, that dream has become a reality!

Hand Cannon is where Cyclops' blaster build begins. Each basic attack gains +2 ATK, and (more importantly) gains Overkill. I know Cyclops doesn't actually carry guns, but thematically I see this as Cyclops firing off a slightly more powerful optic blast.

Directed Force is severely underutilized, and it's the card I've been trying to include to make Cyclops a heavy blaster. The extra damage on Directed Force can be triggered by Cyclops' Ruby Quartz Visor because it adds Ranged/Piercing to his Optic Blast attack, but it can also be triggered by the Hand Cannon which adds Overkill. Directed Force can make a basic attack hit for 6 damage, or a Visor's Optic Blast hit for 5 damage.

Firepower truly brings everything together. With 2 Hand Cannons out, you can attack 2 enemies for 3 damage each, totaling 6 damage for an effective cost of 2. Not too shabby, but we can do better! Firepower is a Ranged attack, which means we can play Directed Force on top of it, increasing the total damage to 10 for an effective cost of 3.

But we can do better!

Have Wolverine down (a persistent ally who should stick around for a long time) with Sidearm. Now you have 3 Weapons to exhaust, which allows you deal a total of 15 damage (5 damage x 3 enemies.)

BUT WE CAN DO BETTER!

Pay for Firepower with an Aggressive Energy to deal 1 extra damage, totaling 18 damage for an effective cost of, again, 3. Really huge damage that can easily clear the board of minions.

Suppressing Fire is a good option for more access to Tactic Upgrades, and allows Cyclops to heal himself.

Precision Strike is another good option for a self heal, which can be easily triggered after softening a minion up with your basic attack or an Optic Blast.

Attack Training can be placed on Wolverine for better longevity and some extra damage.

The Power of Aggression helps pay for the Hand Cannons, as well as the Aggression allies (Psylocke and Sunfire offer good utility.)

Armor is simply in the deck as a high-value chump blocker.

While I created this deck for Cyclops because I wanted a thematic attack build for him, there isn't really anything in here that's trait-locked to X-Men that can't be replaced. I do think Directed Force is uniquely strong for Cyclops whose Hero Action + Visor is a free trigger for it, but it can be replaced for something else if this deck is run by another hero.
