I looked to see if anyone ever thought of using Counterintelligence instead of a Confuse-lock archetype for Colossus.
I found one by KennedyHawk. However, I wanted a more slim-down and constant deck build.
Colossus is weak on thwart and Confuse-lock is weak against Steady/Stalwart enemies. A loss to Dark Beast because of Genoshais what inspired this build.
Colossus is powerful, but he needs to go to alter-ego. This build allows him to consistently flip, and not worry about the main scheme EVEN against Steady/Stalwart. It requires slow and deliberate plays, but it will win the game.
Enjoy!

Apr 22, 2025Love this!! Really cool idea to shift into thwart prevention/removal instead of status. Also, SHIELD is such a great call with how much Colossus wants to flip |

Apr 22, 2025Love Colo I like the counter intelligence/under surveillance route for him! |
Apr 22, 2025All in on event-based SHIELD justice decks. With Coulson you may not need all three copies of Counterintelligence and could consider one copy of Spycraft as a way to mitigate problems that show up when you haven't been able to stack the deck with Global Logistics. You have enough spies to support playing Spycraft. Alternatively, one copy of Practiced Plan could also make it more reliable to get Counterintelligence back down quickly. |

Looks like a solid deck! Counterintelligence is a good tech for Colossus
