Did you know that you can have firework displays in the daytime? There is only a bit of colour with lots of grey smoke, but it certainly makes a bang! A bit like this deck.

I have finally caught up on a playing with a few releases from last year. I tried building around Shopping Spree but found that there was not enough payoff for repeatedly defeating it.

The real value from Jubilee seemed to come from the combination of Multitalented with her upgrades Jubilee's Coat and Jubilee's Sunglasses. With those out for a 3-cost event you can deal 5 damage, remove 5 thwart, and heal 2, it's huge. You can even split the damage and thwart a bit.

With that it made sense to focus on basic cards and use The Power in All of Us. Multitalented is so good that I added two Hit and Run, although it does not heal it is still valuable. As The Power in All of Us counts as two wild resources for those events, you can count them each as a different resource type. So, with that it means you always paid with 3 different resources.

Jubilee can be a bit fragile, so I added plenty of allies to help defend and keeping them grey to make use of The Power in All of Us. With Endurance and some heals from Multitalented or Triage you can actually afford to take a hit or two.

Statuses can be annoying for Jubilee, so we have White Queen and Utopia to help mitigate it. Utopia can sometimes be used to gain extra resources from Jubilee's ability.

Clearing Shopping Spree to search for a key upgrade still felt valuable, so I chose Justice to give access to Disguise (which can clear it in one while in alter ego) and Surveillance Team. One copy of Cell Phone means that you always have a target late in the game if an opportunity to clear Shopping Spree again comes up. In multiplayer you can consider letting them clear if they have an important item.

Other upgrades and supports are chosen to give more wild resources. Once you have some setup you can aim to play at least 1 ally and 1 event per turn. Note that you can use Sense of Justice to play Multitalented and Hit and Run.

This version felt like it was working well and was able to setup pretty quickly. It does not take much to get started with the events and they are great for clearing early minions and schemes that are often around when the game begins.
