Pool has a lot of powerful cards, but many of them are 1 per deck. By using Nadia's G.I.R.L. power, we can recur some of these great cards back into our deck, as long as they have the resource. If that's not enough, we will be turning her into a giant robot that can destroy everything by the end of the game!

G.I.R.L. targets:

Building The Gundam

Fully built out, giant form Wasp will be swinging for 8 damage, divided between targets as you choose, and can ready with Stick-To-Itiveness to do it again. This build out would require Laser Swords (with 4 symbols out), Combat Specialist, and Symbiote Suit. The maximum form isn't necessary, usually you can get to around 5 or 6 attack, which is going to be enough.

Other Thoughts

Try to keep your health high for the triple resources. Alter ego recovery, Tic-Tac-Toe, Healing Factor and Pym Particles will help with this. I like Face the Past for Wasp since her nemesis is not very threatening.

Nick Fury and Professor X LOVE to take the blow from Get in Front of Me! and Not my Responsibility!

Mulligan has to be the first card you PLAY that turn, but if you can use up cards in your hand without actually playing them, you can get extra value here. For this we have Stick-To-Itiveness, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Plot Convenience.

Solo and Card Swaps

The deck is still solo viable, but you get the most value here in multiplayer games where your friends and their allies can Get in Front of You. Flipping to alter ego is also much easier in multiplayer than solo. Not my Responsibility will help a lot if you want to try this deck solo. Since it isn't a hero action, you can use it when flipped down. Then use G.I.R.L. to cycle it right back into the deck. You also can cycle Professor X back into the deck for solo play.

An easy card to remove to get to the perfect 40 cards would be Plot Convenience. It's nice to combo with Mulligan, but isn't crucial here.

The Pool ally choices are really up to you. I think Bob is fantastic for giving Laser Swords icons, he can just sit there and negate the acceleration gain he gives each turn by himself. Negasonic Teenage Warhead has been useful to me, but feel free to switch her out for another one like Dogpool, Headpool or Kidpool.

It had never occurred to me to try to recur some of the Pool cards with mental resources. That’s a great combo that I want to try! Also the healing and triple resources help her cost curve a lot. Nice!

@turtles04 Thanks!

@Caldias Thanks! Her alter ego ability is by far my favorite thing about Wasp

@boomguy Yep! Triple resources are the #1 draw to playing Pool for me. With this deck, you typically can stick Self Control back in the deck at least 2-3 times each game, which makes for a really speedy set up!
