This Deck is designed to work with this Bishop Deck
Mutant Mayhem got a lot of attention when it came out for good reason. Getting retriggering an "when entering play" effect is great, but even a reset on an ally's health alone can be huge.
In this deck, you're primarily an Uncanny X-Force deck that will occasionally involve a Mutant Mayhem. The release of Children of the Atom makes your Mayhem even more flexible, and allows copies of Danger Room Training to be applied to your X-Force allies.
I think Mutant Mayhem is a bit expensive, which makes your Bishop an ideal partner since he often has extra resources to help pay for it. Your primary targets are either Marrow for some nice splash damage, Angel for an extra ready, or Pete Wisdom to heal him up. On occasion, Children of the Atom allows the Psylocke player to hog all the Mayhem, and you'll return 2 allies to hand to be replayed, since your deck has some of the better abilities.
I wouldn't cut the copies of Cell Phone in this deck, they are an incredible combo for Mutant Mayhem, so you get the most out of your activations, and can activate a re-summoned ally off turn.
Your main job with this deck is threat mitigation with Psylocke's incredible thwart events and stats, along with your allies, while Bishop handles minions and villain damage. Your first goal is to get Uncanny X-Force into play along with two allies (primarily hoping for Pete Wisdom and/or Cable.
Psychic Kicker is particularly good in this deck because it allows your 1-printed-thwart allies to completely handle a 6 threat side scheme (2 from their initial activation from with Uncanny X-Force and 4 more with Psychic Kicker) in a single turn.
You're running a copy of Uncanny X-Men to give to your Bishop partner. Getting Uncanny X-Men onto Bishop is a huge gain for that player and if you can spare the resources/tempo, it's a long-term game winner. Team Training is also worth considering for your deck, maybe even two copies so each player can enjoy more hit points.
As the Psylocke player, you'll be flipping every other turn in order to get explosive turns, while your Bishop partner tries to stay in the fight every round to help mitigate threat on the main scheme, but there's times when the X-Force crew will need to pitch in.
This means we run The Rally the Troops side scheme, which doesn't usually see a lot of play. However, it's great in this combination because your Bishop friend is also running a lot of allies, and Wolverine (the ally) can almost always use a bit of extra healing.
I've tested these decks against a wide variety of expert scenarios, so I think it's ready for pretty much any kind of challenge. Enjoy!
