This deck is going to use Iron Mans superior intellect and enormous ego to keep his enemies confused, ramping up his ping damage as a result. Packing lots of energy and mental resources, you should reliably be getting aerial and have lots of fuel for repulsor blasts.
Iron Man has a built in ready (Arc Reactor) and two sources of small attacks - perfect for getting bonus damage off float like a butterfly. Add in a few allies, the plasma pistol, and your sonic rifles, and his damage ramps up really fast. Not to mention the deck is stock full of energy resources to ensure your repulsor blasts deal maximum damage.
This deck should be fairly straightforward to play. It has a number of tech upgrades available - try to get to that max hand size as quickly as possible! Early on, you can use the Sonic Rifle to confuse the villain amd flip down safely. As you build your hero and upgrades, you can save the confuses to fuel float like a butterfly. In addition to the rifles, Dazzler, Professor X, and Banshee can generate extra confuse statuses, and Cypher is likely to draw you cards when he attacks given how many confused targets you should have.
The side schemes are included to speed up your ability to get built, I recommend prioritizing the Arc Reactor with Superpower Training.
This deck runs Ingenuity and Quincarrier to enable you to go aerial each turn once you've got one of your boots out. Float away, friends!
We discuss this deck on Critical Encounters Issue 217, maybe come and give it a listen! https://criticalencounters.libsyn.com/critical-encounters-issue-217-secret-dossier-iron-man
Looks good. If be inclined to throw Meditation in to help with the cost curve a bit.
