Cosmo is a good doggo, but in this deck he's a hellhound gone bad. Sure, we are going to Voltron him a bit, but This deck focuses on top deck shenanigans to fully utilize the Hero power of Magik, and to make sure you have the resources showing to get the right stat perks and power up those identity specific events.
By using cards such as Cosmo, Legion and Domino we are to discard and otherwise manipulate the top card of the deck to be what we want.
Of course, there's also other things to do as well, because we need multiple payoffs to make a good deck.
Summoning Spell is going to get as Ally of course, but it's also going to pitch a bunch of cards in the bin so we have Digging Deep and White Fox in there to profit. Of course, we can also drop them straight in the bin using Cosmo and Legion. While it seems like a "nonbo" with Legion discarding Digging Deep, we are still getting that resource back too.
Because you'll always know the top card of your deck, perfect to Voltron Cosmo. We have Sidearm, Laser Blaster, Comms Implant and Inspiring Presence to build a loyal doggo into a swole Hellhound. I was thinking about Honorary X-Men and Danger Room Training, but these cards were taking up too many slots with less utility.
Since you're binning so many cards, we have Make the Call to get Allies back that you need and Call for Backup is going to get you the Ally you want the most.
Typically your going to want to try and get Limbo and Cosmo out as quickly as possible. Use Build Support to help find Limbo. Already have Limbo? Go get The X-Jet or Stepford Cuckoos. Need Cosmo? Use Call for Backup to fetch (heh) him, or if you have a Make the Call you can dump a lot of your deck with Summoning Spell and then likely get him out.
