Area of Effect

This deck is all about doing many things with one card. With Even the Odds and Problem Solvers, one could say that out of 99 problems, schemes won't be one.

So how do we power up these area of effect thwarts? We use allies and One Way or Another. Give Captain Britain or Jessica Jones an Honorary Avenger. Then pair them with Venom or Eros to do big thwarts.

Boost the AoE

This deck uses Operative Skill and Passion for Justice to make sure that the thwart effects will be big enough no matter what player count. Don't get me wrong. It's nicer when you have 3 or 4 players because someone will have a resource you can borrow for the Alliance cards.

With Captain Britain's 3 THW and Eros 2 THW, Problem Solvers will remove 5 threat + 1 per Passion for Justice + 1 for Operative Skill making 7 threat from each scheme.

Do the same with Even the Odds even in solo it can remove 3 or 4 threat per side scheme, making it able to clear most side schemes in solo.

Protect your Allies

With Peter's high defense, always defend. You have 1 ally slot for a chump blocker, but otherwise, avoid it. Specialized Training is in this deck for you to take the Defense Specialist so you get to draw for defending. Even take damage before you defend with an ally.

You can always flip down and use Aunt May to heal yourself back up.

Then when you have everything under control, in solo, turn to damage and use your phenomenal economy and the most powerful attack event Swinging Web Kick to do final blows to the villain.

Multiplayer

If you’re playing this deck in multiplayer, it can stand as is, but the deck will feel smoother if you make one of two changes, either:

  1. Replace two One Way or Anothers with an additional Problem Solvers and an additional Even the Odds.
  2. Just add a Problem Solvers and an Even the Odds. Multiplayer can usually find side schemes easily.

Otherwise, this deck handles 4-player thwarts with ease.
