Feb 04, 2024I think Fusillade is such an underrated card. Always love seeing decks with it. |
Feb 05, 2024The problem with Godslayer in this style of deck is it needs to be exhausted for its Interrupt but also need to be exhausted for Mean Swing or Fusillade. What would be ideal is some more weapons that don't need to be exhausted to be used themselves (e.g. Jarnbjorn). |

Feb 18, 2024Wow, never expected to get comments on this deck! So cool — this certainly serves as encouragement for trying to make more. :)
As for your first comment, for me the decision to defend with SP//dr or not is always a matter of looking at the turn ahead and deciding whether I can afford one fewer basic ATK/THW during my upcoming turn, and whether or not I will really need that physical resource from Speed-Metal Alloy. It also depends on the allies I have available to block for me: Hobie, Otto, or Gwen, I'm almost always defending with them. Peter, Addy, or Kaine? They're probably worth keeping alive for longer to make full use of their effects (or raw stats, in the case of a high power Addy). |

just got a chance to play this, and i love the aggression variant, especially with Godslayer. it made for some great damage runs. with this style of deck, do you recommend defending with SP//dr and readying with Host Spider or to try to defend with allies and use both SP//dr activations for damage?
