the point of this deck was to see how much damage you can deal in a single turn with quicksilver so its nearly all upgrades and ready effects. if my math is correct you can deal 176 damage in one turn. as with all the upgrades you will have 16 attack (after playing Quick Strike) with 4 copies of Always Be Running plus quicksilvers abilities and various other ways to ready you can ready a total of 9 times with your basic attack and quick strike that's 11 attacks so 11x16=176.

if you want to actually play this deck its ideal in 2 player with the other players doing solely threat removal as you set up an prepare for your combo turn. if anyone has any ideas of how to deal even more damage in one turn with quicksilver please comment as I want to see how far this idea can be pushed.

Where are you getting 16Atk?

1Atk Quicksilver +2 Maximum Velocity +3 Adrenaline Rush +1 Combat Training +1 Reinforced Sinew Total: 9 Atk

The 3 Brute Force get discarded immediately when you make a basic attack. The 3 Fluid Motion cannot be activated because you only have 1 attack event.

As for more damage: Jarnbjorn It's a +2 dmg per attack that can be paid for with Friction Resistance each time.

@Crowscrowcrow ah I didn't realize that brute force only works for the first attack and since fluid motion is a hero response it should trigger when I play quick strike an activate before the calculations for quick strike right?

also your forgetting reinforced sinew which would put it up to 13 then

also @Crowscrowcrow jarnbjorn does seem good I won't be able to trigger it every attack since I need some of those resources to fundthe rest of the combo but it will add some extra damage

  1. I included Reinforced Sinew, didn't I? It's the last one.

2a. Fluid Motion is "Hero Response: After you" so it triggers after Quick Strike has resolved. It would need to be a Hero Interupt. 2b. Fluid Motion has "(Max 1 per ATTACK event.)" which means that if you had 3 in play and played Quick Strike, only 1 of them may be used. The other 2 would require 2 more Attack Events to trigger.

  1. You could get "Symbiote Suit" for more damage. Not just a +1 to all stats, but also an extra card draw which might translate to another ready.

@Crowscrowcrowyeah sorry I did realized you did mention reinforced sinew after. too bad about the fluid motion stuff. I thought about symbiote suit but the downside of extra encounter cards didn't seem worth it I already update it for a version 3 with jarnbjorn and extra resource cards to fund it. I'll make a version 4 with extra quick strikes to trigger all the fluid motions as well as maybe symbiote suit. am I correct to assume that each fluid motion would trigger on a separate quick strike so the attacks would go from 9 to 10 then 11 then 12?

Symbiote Suit should definitely not be played early, but if you play it a turn before you are throwing 100+ damage around, it has no downside. xD

You are correct that each fluid motion would trigger on a separate quickstrike. (If you are going to be using multiple attacks, I guess you might as well include Martial Prowess to pay for it.)

Oh, and in regards to adding more damage in a single turn. You could add 2 more Avenger Allies and up Earth's Mightiest Heroes to 3 for free readies.

@Crowscrowcrow I already have to play a lot of cards in a single turn and barely have hand space for it extra copies of avenger mightiest hero's according to my math if I play three copies of quick strike to trigger each fluid motion I only have one card let and 1 resoucre left so currently the final card is a strength card so Jarnbjorn can deal 6 as a opposed to 2, I could play an extra avenger ally and earth's mightiest heroes. to technically deal an extra 9 damage but I would not have hand space to play 2 more of them

@Jake8cake Maximum Velocity has the limit of "Max 1 per phase." So you can only play 1 on the combo turn. So, good/bad news, that frees up 3 effective resources.

@Crowscrowcrow dang it well yeah but the more useless cards that are not part of the deck clog up the draw pile for when you want to go off. but yeah that can be another copy of earth's mightiest and 4 more damage on jarnbjorn. I will make an update version 4 once I figure out all the math agin

@Jake8cake The math looks great. You could get 1 more card draw from Pietrov's "Superpowered Siblings" ability since Scarlet Witch will be in play. Which also provides a bit of hand filtering.

@Jake8cake Hardly. I love playing Quicksilver and his combo potential so I've tried many of his combo concepts. I assumed that Aggro would have the best damage when it's totally dedicated, but after you laid it all out it, I wanted to slot in Repurpose to see how far it would get in this setup. I was actually surprised to see it net an extra 36.

@Jake8cake I don't think there are any protection allies that would increase the damage. Aside from maybe attacking. Protection has a couple more Ready events that might increase the damage further if they could be paid for.

I was thinking...

If the total hand is 12 with Superpowered Siblings, that's actually drawing 14 cards (Discard 2). That's 14/19 Events if everything else is already in play. That does make it pretty easy to get some consistency for the combo turn.

Event (19) 4x Always Be Running 3x Assess the Situation 2x Double Time 3x Earth's Mightiest Heroes 1x Leading Blow 2x Maximum Velocity 3x Repurpose 1x Speed Cyclone

Makes me wonder if there are any other ways to either shave this down or get more draw/filtering to make it 100% certain you get the perfect hand. I mean, I guess just skipping a turn and discarding the non-combo cards works, but mhm.

Ready to Rumble wouldn't work as a ready effect. Quicksilver can only trigger it by swapping from Alter-Ego to Hero, so that's not an extra attack. (Unless you became exhausted in Alter-Ego for some reason.)

I'm curious what the 40 looks like. I'm staring at 41 and weighing options. I don't think there are other support cards I'd consider a significant addition. There's some fun options like +1Def and Unflappable for extra survival and draw but meh ^^;
