Avengers... Protect Colossus' Tough!

Introduction

What is most important meal of day? Well... it's tough status cards of course. One of the biggest detriments to Colossus' game is losing all his status cards while in hero form. This prevents him from using his hero cards like Made of Rage, Steel Fist (more specifically, the stun and confuse ability), and Bulletproof Protector, giving him more tough status cards, but needs at least 1 in order to play this.

It's tough to keep these status cards... but we're gonna try.

Gameplan

The idea behind this deck is to play cheap allies, that can provide small amounts of thwarting/attacking as needed. More importantly though, these allies can chump block for Colossus, allowing him to keep his internal tough economy churning. here's how it's done:

Step 1: Avengers... Protect Colussus' Tough! Play an avenger ally, any ally! Step 2: Chump block, or hold onto them until you see Ready for Action. One they have a tough, they can exhaust and block with a tough rather than leaving the game. Step 3: Make the Call Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3

Utilize Rapid Response as a safety net. The Power of Leadership cards are provided to aid in paying for allies.

Throughout the game, you should be able to find opportunities to play Colossus' big event cards and set up his other economy cards (#1: Iron Will & #2: Titanium Muscles).

Final Thoughts: Colossus is most fun when toughs are flowing in and out of play. Making plays, such as using Allies to block, going to alter-ego, having Organic Steel on the table, etc. will keep Colossus pushing forward.
